Lectures
Week 11:
We were given briefing about our final project which is self titled. Self-titled is an exploration project for the students to express their own individuality and reflect their personality into digital art self-expression. The main idea is to build up self-confidence and discover their interest.
Adobe After Effects is a 2.5D animation software used for animation, visual effects, and motion picture compositing. After Effects is used in film, TV, and web video creation. This software is used in the post-production phase, and has hundreds of effects that can be used to manipulate imagery. This allows you to combine layers of video and images into the same scene.
Adobe After Effects takes a different approach for creating movement. Motion graphics animation works by manipulating vector and rasterized art to create and tell a story. You can integrate physical based media as well through photographs and videography.

Mr Fauzi gave us a tutorial on how to use other elements and textures as well as how to add audio in After Effect.

Final Poster:
This poster tell a story about my past self which used to be very scared watching horror movies, but now I don’t really feel scared at all anymore. I find horror films interesting because it trigger my emotion and adrenaline. So, from that, I want to show that it is possible for someone to overcome their fear.

Reflection
Reflecting on my journey with Adobe After Effects for digital photography, I’m struck by how this tool has expanded my creative horizons. One of the most significant insights I've gained is the power of motion graphics and animation in enhancing still images. Before, I primarily viewed digital photography as a static medium. Learning to integrate animations and effects into my photos has opened up new possibilities for storytelling and visual expression. Furthermore, After Effects has broadened my perspective on how different elements in a composition interact by experimenting with layers, masks, and keyframes. Overall, this exploration has not only enhanced my technical abilities but also reinvigorated my creative process.
